Be creative. Often clients can come to you with the solution they want, and sometimes this is helpful. They have a problem and they know the solution, they just need you to outwork it. I would encourage you to be creative when your client comes to you. Perhaps there is a different solution you could offer that would bring a greater return.
It can be easy to do just as we are told. And often clients want us to do just as they have asked but remember you are an expert in your field and they are in theirs, and so there is no harm in taking on board and doing their suggestions whilst offering other solutions and doing those as well, where possible.
